Geoffrey Nnaji Denies Forgery Allegations Amid Resignation

Former Minister of Innovation and Science Technology, Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, has denied allegations of certificate forgery following his resignation. Nnaji emphasized that his resignation was a personal and principled decision and not an admission of guilt.

He stated that the matter is sub judice and he will refrain from public commentary to respect due process. Nnaji accused political opponents of orchestrating a malicious campaign against him, describing it as politically motivated.

The former minister tendered his resignation letter to President Bola Tinubu, thanking him for the opportunity to serve. Nnaji stressed the importance of preserving the integrity of the judicial process and expressed confidence that history will vindicate him.
