Tinubu's Minister Resigns Amid Certificate Scandal Fallout

Minister of Innovation Science Technology Geoffrey Uche Nnaji resigned amidst a certificate scandal, following allegations that his Bachelor of Science degree certificate was disowned by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). President Tinubu accepted Nnaji's resignation, with the former Minister thanking him for the opportunity to serve Nigeria.

Investigations revealed discrepancies in Nnaji's educational qualifications, as UNN stated he never completed his studies or received a degree from the institution. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) also confirmed the certificate Nnaji presented could not be authenticated.
