Gunmen Abduct Students and Staff from Niger Catholic School, Security Forces Conducting Rescue Operations

Gunmen attacked St. Mary's Catholic Primary and Secondary School in Papiri, Niger State, abducting an unconfirmed number of students and staff.

The Catholic Diocese of Kontagora strongly condemned the attack and is collaborating with security agencies for a swift rescue. Security personnel were reportedly shot during the invasion.
