House of Reps Probes Billions Spent on Nigeria's Refineries!

The House of Representatives has launched a probe into the billions of dollars reportedly spent on rehabilitating Nigeria's refineries in Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna. The decision to investigate followed a motion by Lagos lawmaker Hon Sesi Whingan, questioning the lack of progress despite massive investments.

The motion highlighted concerns over the alleged misuse of public funds and corruption in the refinery rehabilitation projects. The probe aims to assess the utilization of funds, expose any mismanagement or corruption, and shed light on the progress of the refinery repair efforts.

This investigation comes amidst public frustration over Nigeria's continued fuel importation despite significant investments in refinery repairs.
