JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Results for April 20 Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results for candidates who took the exam on April 20. This announcement was made on Tuesday by JAMB's spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.

Candidates can check their results through the board's official channels, including SMS services, using the numbers 55019 and 66019. The examination took place from April 16, with approximately two million candidates participating in computer-based tests across accredited centers.

Although results for candidates who wrote on April 17 and 18 were released earlier, the results for April 20 faced delays beyond the initial timeline, which raised concerns among candidates. JAMB later issued an apology for the delay, explaining it was due to the absence of the Chief Executive on official duties.

Candidates are advised to continue monitoring the official channels for updates on subsequent results.
