JAMB Announces 2026 UTME Start Date and Guidelines

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has provided an update regarding the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 16, 2026. JAMB spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, emphasized the importance for candidates to print their examination notification slips.

This step is crucial for confirming their examination date, venue, and time. Candidates are strongly advised to print their slips early to familiarize themselves with their examination centers ahead of the exam date, thereby avoiding any inconveniences.

The examination will be conducted over several days, and candidates are assigned specific schedules on their notification slips to ensure they arrive at their centers on time for proper screening and accreditation.
