Breaking: Jubilation as Tinubu Announces Fresh Appointment for Abiola's Daughter

Rinsola Abiola, the daughter of late democratic hero and winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant and Director-General of the Citizenship Leadership Training Centre (CLTC) by President Tinubu. This announcement was made in a statement released by the presidency.

Additionally, Nasir Bala Aminu has been appointed as the new Senior Special Assistant for Citizenship Leadership. This is one of the many appointments made by President Tinubu since the inauguration of his administration.

The appointment of Abiola has generated mixed reactions among Nigerians, with some seeing it as a strategic move to regain trust in the northern region ahead of the 2027 elections.
