Lagos Police Declare Activist Sowore Wanted for Alleged Public Disorder Plot

The Lagos State Police Command has declared activist Omoyele Sowore wanted for allegedly planning to incite public disorder and block major roads, including the Third Mainland Bridge and Lekki Tollgate. Police Commissioner Olohundar Jimoh announced the move, warning of arrests for those causing disturbances.

Sowore is accused of coordinating activities to disrupt peace, with 13 suspects already arrested in connection to the alleged plot. Security personnel have been deployed to prevent disruptions and protect infrastructure.

Sowore is reported to have fled, and investigations are ongoing to identify sponsors and collaborators.
