Lagos Police Confirm Activist Sowore Still Wanted for Third Mainland Bridge Protest

Lagos State Police Commissioner, CP Jimoh, reaffirmed that activist Omoyele Sowore is wanted in Lagos for planning a protest on Third Mainland Bridge, warning against any actions that could endanger public safety and disrupt the economy. Sowore is accused of planning a protest that poses a direct threat to Nigeria's economy and national security.

The police emphasize the need to prevent any potential chaos or destruction of public and private property. CP Jimoh urged Sowore to surrender to the nearest police station to avoid causing public disorder.

Human rights activist Segun Awosanya also commended the firm leadership of the Lagos police in handling the situation.
