Nigerian Navy Officer Escapes Assassination Attempt After Confrontation with Minister Wike

Lt Yarima, a Nigerian Navy officer, recently confronted Minister Nyesom Wike in Abuja and later escaped an assassination attempt by unknown assailants. The incident occurred as Lt Yarima was being pursued by men in two unmarked vehicles.

This comes after a video of Minister Wike verbally attacking Lt Yarima went viral, leading to public outrage and calls for the Minister to apologize. The Ministry of Defence has assured that any military personnel acting lawfully will not face punishment.
