Kabiru Turaki San Emerges as New PDP National Chairman in Ibadan Convention

Former Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Kabiru Turaki San, has been elected as the new National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) during a convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State. The convention, attended by 3,000 delegates from across Nigeria's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, marked a significant step towards party unity and renewal ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Senator Lado received 275 votes, while Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja was elected as the National Secretary. The election process was overseen by Senator Ben Obi, emphasizing the PDP's commitment to democratic principles.
