OAU Pro-Chancellor Abdulgafar Oyeweso Passes Away; Former Nigerian President's Wife Also Dies

Professor Abdulgafar Oyeweso, a distinguished history professor and Pro-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, has died following a successful surgery. Survived by his wife, children, and family, his passing has deeply impacted the academic and political spheres.

Additionally, the family of former Nigerian President Shehu Shagari announced the passing of his last surviving wife, Hajiya Sutura Shehu Shagari. The late President Shagari was Nigeria's first elected president in 1979.
