Police Seal ADC Party Office Amid Political Tensions

The Kaduna State Police have sealed the state secretariat of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) located on Ali Akilu Road, sparking tension among opposition figures. The sealing of the office came just before the ADC leadership was scheduled to visit and console members who were recently attacked by suspected political thugs.

Witnesses reported heavy police presence around the building, preventing access to the office. The incident occurred during a coalition meeting with the Social Democratic Party (SDP) that was violently disrupted by hoodlums.

The escalating political hostility in Kaduna involves prominent figures like former Governor Nasir El-rufai and Governor Uba Sani.
