President Tinubu Announces New Appointments for Federal University

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made fresh appointments in the leadership of the newly established Yusuf Maitama Sule Federal University of Education in Kano. Engineer Abdurrazaq Abubakar Nakore has been appointed as the Chairman of the Governing Council, while Abdullahi Tukur Kodage and Yahaya Isa Bunkure have been named Vice Chancellors for different campuses of the university.

Nakore, a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, brings experience from his previous role as the Executive Secretary of the Rural Electricity Board in Jigawa State. The appointments, announced by Tinubu's Special Adviser on Information Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, align with the institution's governing laws and aim to enhance the educational landscape in Nigeria.
