Tinubu Appoints Obih, Akinfeleye into Governing Councils of Two Varsities

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Hon Chisom Obih to the Governing Council of Alex Ekwueme Federal University in Ebonyi State, following the death of a council member. Additionally, renowned communication specialist Professor Ralph Akinfeleye has been appointed to the Governing Council of Obafemi Awolowo University in Osun State.

Akinfeleye, a former Head of the Department of Mass Communication at the University of Lagos, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Tinubu also named Professor Ibrahim Yakasai as the Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Health Sciences and Technology in Tsafe, Zamfara State.

Yakasai, a retired Colonel in the Nigerian Army, has an impressive academic background and extensive experience in healthcare management. These appointments aim to strengthen the leadership and governance of these universities.
