Nigerian Senate Approves Bernard Doro as New Minister for Tinubu

The Nigerian Senate has approved Bernard Doro as the new Minister for Tinubu after a short screening session lasting less than 30 minutes. Doro, a seasoned professional with a background in pharmacy, law, and business strategy, was confirmed by the Senate.

He is set to replace Simon Lalong, the immediate past governor of Plateau State. Doro's nomination was well-received, with a focus on his vision for inclusive humanitarian initiatives.

Bayo Onanuga was also confirmed as a special adviser to the President on information strategy. The Senate also confirmed Ojo Amupitan SAN as the new Chairman of INEC after a rigorous two-hour session.
