Bola Tinubu Nominates Bernard Dodo as Minister, Seeks Senate Confirmation

Bola Tinubu, the former Lagos State Governor, has nominated Dr. Bernard Moham Dodo as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The nomination was forwarded to the Senate for confirmation, as announced by the Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga. Dr.

Dodo, a native of Plateau State, brings over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in clinical practice, pharmaceutical management, and strategic leadership. He holds degrees in pharmacy, law, and an MBA with a focus on business strategy.

His nomination follows the election of Prof. Nentawe Goshw Yilwatda as the new APC chairman in July 2025.

Dr. Dodo has a background in humanitarian affairs and poverty reduction, with a strong commitment to community engagement.

He has also been involved in youth mentorship and social impact initiatives both locally and in the diaspora.
