BREAKING: WAEC Revises Errors Recorded in 2025 WASSCE Results

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has revised errors in the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results, leading to an increase in the pass rates for English language and Mathematics. The revision came after a review of the results released earlier in the week, with WAEC's Head of Nigeria Office, Amos Dangut, acknowledging a lapse in the serialised objective paper for a subject.

The council apologized to affected students and advised those who had previously checked their results to do so again within 24 hours. The 2025 WASSCE results showed an improvement in pass rates compared to the previous year, with WAEC recording a 5-year high.

This development follows concerns raised by parents, teachers, and students about the accuracy of the exam results.
