CSOs Praise Uba Sani for Ekiti Election Success

Civil society organizations (CSOs) have commended Uba Sani, the Chair of the APC Campaign Council, for his strategic leadership during the recent governorship election in Ekiti State, where Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji was re-elected. The coalition, which includes the Leadership Accountability League and the Democracy Advancement Assembly, issued a statement on Sunday in Kaduna, expressing their confidence in Sani's ability to deliver results.

Oyebanji secured 319,224 votes, reflecting strong voter support for his administration's efforts. The CSOs attributed the electoral success to the effective coordination of the APC national campaign council and highlighted the importance of Oyebanji's first-term performance in governance.

They called for unity among political actors and urged the opposition candidates to accept the election outcome in the spirit of democracy. The coalition also praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for ensuring a peaceful and credible electoral process.

They concluded by congratulating Oyebanji and wishing him success in his new term.
