APC Celebrates Vice President Shettima's 60th Birthday

The All Progressives Congress (APC) congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, describing the milestone as a reflection of his decades of public service and commitment to the nation. Felix Morka, the party's National Publicity Secretary, issued the statement on behalf of the National Working Committee and party members nationwide.

The APC highlighted Shettima's tenure as governor of Borno State, noting the challenges posed by insurgency during that period. His focus on infrastructure and human capital development was credited with laying the groundwork for recovery in the North East geopolitical zone.

Following his governorship, Shettima served as a senator for Borno Central before becoming President Bola Tinubu's running mate in the 2023 general elections. Since taking office as Vice President, he has chaired the National Economic Council (NEC) and actively contributed to economic policy under the Renewed Hope Agenda, which the APC claims is vital for sustainable development and prosperity.

The party expressed prayers for Shettima's health and wisdom as he continues to serve.
