Wike-Led PDP Faction Expels Makinde, Bala Mohammed, Others in Abuja Clash

The Nyesom Wike-led faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled prominent members including Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, and Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State. This action came after a clash with a rival faction at the party's headquarters in Abuja.

The expulsions were announced by the faction's National Executive Committee (NEC) following a controversial PDP national convention in Ibadan. The faction dissolved state executive councils and mandated caretaker committees to conduct fresh congresses.
