PDP Expels Makinde, Mohammed, and Others in Factional Clash

The People's Democratic Party (PDP), supported by Nyesom Wike, expelled key members like Seyi Makinde and Bala Mohammed following internal factional conflicts. The decision was reached at a meeting in Abuja, where other members such as Dauda Lawal, Adolphus Wabara, and Kabiru Tanimu Turaki were also expelled.

The National Executive Committee (NEC) expressed concerns over members violating court orders and engaging in anti-party activities, leading to the dissolution of state executive councils in Bauchi, Oyo, Zamfara, Yobe, Lagos, Edo, and Ekiti. Samuel Anyanwu, the National Secretary, highlighted the need for discipline and adherence to the party's constitution.
