New Tottenham coach Roberto De Zerbi, who debuted four new signings including Sandro Tonali, faced criticism for making 20-year-old Archie Gray the youngest captain in the club's history. Tottenham's struggles were evident as they failed to capitalize on their spending, with De Zerbi emphasizing the need to find "the soul of the team" after their previous season's near-relegation.
