Broda Shaggi Returns to Social Media After Hiatus

Samuel Perry, known as Broda Shaggi, a prominent Nigerian skit maker and actor, has made a return to social media after several months of absence. In an emotional message shared on his WhatsApp channel on a Friday, he expressed gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support during his time away.

Shaggi acknowledged that he had been unable to connect with his audience as he wished but reassured them that he had not forgotten them. He stated, “I wish I could tell y’all everything right now… but I can’t.

Not yet,” indicating he was not ready to share the full story behind his absence. His hiatus followed reports linking him to an alleged shooting incident while filming a skit in the Sango-Ota area.

The Ogun State Police Command began investigating the reports but could not confirm the incident's occurrence within Ogun State. The Lagos State Police Command also noted that a hospital treated a gunshot victim identified as Shaggi, who sustained a thigh injury, but the incident was outside their jurisdiction.
