Broda Shaggi Reveals Narrow Escape from Shooting Incident

Samuel Animashaun Perry, known as Broda Shaggi, revealed how he narrowly escaped death after being shot on March 9, 2026, while filming at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State. He sustained an injury to his leg and was initially taken to a hospital in Alakuko, Lagos, before being transferred to another medical facility in the Government Residential Area of Ikeja.

The Lagos State police command confirmed the incident, which was reported by the private hospital where he was first treated. The news, which surfaced online on March 13, caused concern among his fans, leading him to take a break from social media and halt his content creation.

On October 20, 2026, Broda Shaggi posted a video on Instagram showing him being rushed to the hospital with a gunshot injury and blood stains. He described March 9 as “A day in my life I wished never happened” and announced plans to share more details about the shooting.
