Aisha Buhari Celebrates Education Legacy at Al-Qalam University

During a groundbreaking ceremony for a new computer science complex at Al-Qalam University in Katsina, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, the former First Lady, stated that her late husband, former President Muhammadu Buhari, left a legacy through his unwavering commitment to education and human capital development. The project, financed through the book "Soldier Statesman: The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari," aims to equip future generations with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Aisha Buhari described the complex as a testament to her husband's enduring legacy, highlighting the importance of nurturing knowledge and character rather than merely constructing monuments. The facility will include two 150-seat lecture halls, a 200-seat auditorium, three computer laboratories, and offices for academic staff.

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda praised the Buhari family for their investment in education, while Vice Chancellor Nasiru Musa Yauri noted that this initiative would significantly enhance teaching and learning in computer-related disciplines.
