Nigerian Equity Market Gains N653 Billion in Bullish Run

On Tuesday, the Nigerian equity market recorded a significant bullish run, gaining N653 billion, which lifted the market capitalization to N147.217 trillion from N146.564 trillion the previous day. Other notable gainers included Cutix PLC and Regal Insurance. Conversely, Custodian Insurance was the top loser, dropping by 9.98 percent to close at N73.15 per share.
The total volume of shares traded decreased to 916.661 million, representing a 15.09 percent decline, with a total transaction value of N39.985 billion across 49,579 deals.
