Stakeholders Dialogue for Citizen-Centric Public Service

The Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) organized a stakeholders dialogue on June 23, 2026, in Abuja, focusing on making public institutions more citizen-centric to improve service delivery. Mr.

D. Arabi, the Director General of BPSR, underscored the bureau's commitment to promoting excellence in public service and supporting reforms to enhance efficiency and responsiveness in public institutions.

The event's theme was "Transforming Public Institutions: Advancing Innovation and Participation," and it aimed to bring together senior public officials, policymakers, development partners, and civil society organizations to deliberate on strategies for strengthening public institutions and advancing public service reform in Nigeria. Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State chaired the dialogue, while Prof.

Tunji Olaopa, Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, delivered the lead lecture. The event also included an award dinner to recognize outstanding public institutions and individuals for their contributions to public service reform and excellence.
