Burna Boy Sets Record as African Artist With Most Billboard Hot 100 Entries

Nigerian artist Burna Boy has made history as the African artist with the most entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His latest collaboration with American rapper Gunna, titled "WGFT," debuted at number 96 on the chart.

This marks Burna Boy's seventh appearance on the Hot 100, making him the first African artist to debut a song on the chart for five consecutive years, from 2021 to 2025. Burna Boy first appeared on the chart in 2021 with "Loved" featuring Justin Bieber, and his solo debut came in 2022 with "Last Last," reaching number 44.

Additionally, Burna Boy holds the record for the most entries by an African artist on the UK Singles Chart (26) and the Canadian Hot 100 (11).
