This incident comes on the heels of a reported assault by Burna Boy's team on DJ Tunez at Obi's house in Lagos a few weeks prior. Following the assault, DJ Tunez's association with Nigeria temporarily suspended Burna Boy pending an investigation into the allegations.

The ongoing feud between the two artists has escalated, with DJ Tunez's comments potentially warning of a possible reprisal from Burna Boy.
