Buruj Sports Academy Launches Stadium Project in Ikorodu

Buruj Sports Academy officially unveiled its plans for a state-of-the-art football stadium complex located on six acres of land in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The proposed project will include a standard football pitch, a modern athletic track, a 5,000-capacity pavilion, dressing rooms, a players' tunnel, a referees' section, and park space, all designed to create a world-class training environment for nurturing the next generation of football stars.

According to the academy, this stadium project represents the next phase in its long-term vision for grassroots football, emphasizing that every young footballer deserves the opportunity to showcase their talent. The academy has produced several players who have represented Nigeria, including former Nigeria U-15 international Fawaz Ayomid and Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen, who is set to captain Buruj Football Club in the upcoming 2026 Nationwide League season.

Salaudeen and Ayomid have previously represented Nigeria in youth tournaments and continue to attract international attention.
