By-Election: ADC Accuses Police Of Stopping Aregbesola From Attending Campaign Rally

The ADC has accused the police of preventing former Osun State governor Rauf Aregbesola from attending a campaign rally in Sagamu. The party's state chairman, Femi Soluade, claimed that the Divisional Police Officer blocked Aregbesola, party chairman Rasaq Eyiowuawi, and other leaders from entering the venue, forcing them to turn back to Abeokuta.

Soluade alleged that the police violently disrupted the rally, removing the canopy, breaking chairs, and seizing musical instruments. He also claimed that an armored tank was stationed to intimidate party members.

Soluade condemned the police's actions as biased and undemocratic, vowing not to be intimidated. The ADC is calling for an investigation into the incident.
