By-Elections: You Have Turned Yourself To An Irony And A Paradox – Abure Blasts Peter Obi

Abure, a member of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC), criticized Peter Obi for supporting the Labour Party (LP) candidate in the upcoming by-elections, calling it ironic and paradoxical. Abure accused Obi of being affiliated with multiple political parties and accused the former Anambra governor of playing the victim despite his involvement in various parties.

Last week, supporters of the LP candidate protested at the national headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja, expressing anger over the omission of the candidate's name from the election list. The protesters demanded justice and respect for the rule of law, citing a Supreme Court judgment in favor of the LP candidate.
