Cadbury Nigeria Appoints Folak Ogundipe as Interim MD Amid Leadership Transition

Cadbury Nigeria Plc has appointed Folak Ogundipe as the interim Managing Director after the retirement of Oyeyimika Adeboye, who joined the company in 2008 and became the first woman to lead the company in 2019. Adeboye's exit comes amidst challenges in the consumer goods manufacturing industry, including foreign exchange shortages and rising inflation.

Ogundipe, with experience in fast-moving consumer goods and energy services industries, will oversee operations during this transition phase. Cadbury Nigeria's parent company, Mondelez International, continues to refine its West Africa strategy.
