Flamingos Captain Moshood and Super Falcons Finalists for 2025 CAF Awards

Flamingos captain Shakirat Moshood and the Super Falcons have been shortlisted for the 2025 CAF Awards. Moshood, who led the Flamingos in the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco, is a finalist for the CAF Women's Young Player of the Year.

Bankol Olowookere's Bayelsa Queens team won the Nigerian Women's Football League earlier in the year. Moshood will compete against last year's winner Moha El Madani from Morocco and Senegal's Adji Ndiaye for the award.

The Super Falcons are also in the final shortlist for the Women's National Team of the Year.
