Super Falcons' Shakirat Moshood Nominated for 2025 CAF Awards

Shakirat Moshood, a key player for the Super Falcons, has made it to the final nominees list for the 2025 CAF Awards in the women's young player category. Moshood's leadership of Nigeria's U-17 women's team in the World Cup held in Morocco in October has earned her praise.

Despite the team falling in the round of 16, coach Bankol Olowookere highlighted Moshood's bright spark and contribution on and off the pitch. The competition for the award includes last year's winner Moha El Madani from Morocco and Senegal's Adji Ndiaye.

The Super Falcons are also named among the finalists for the women's national team of the year, showcasing their solid performance as African champions.
