CAF Confederation Cup: Asante Kotoko to host Kwara United at Accra Sports Stadium

Ghana Premier League team Asante Kotoko will host Kwara United at the Accra Sports Stadium in the CAF Confederation Cup. The preliminary round first leg match is scheduled for September 19-21, 2025, with the second leg venue yet to be confirmed for September 26-28.

Asante Kotoko's home ground, the Baba Yara Stadium, is currently undergoing renovations, leading to the change in venue. This will be the first meeting between Kwara United and Asante Kotoko in a continental competition, with both teams guaranteed a participation fee of $100,000 for reaching this stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
