CAF Announces 2026-27 Competitions Calendar Details

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the calendar for its major competitions for the 2026-27 season, announcing key dates and host countries. The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda from June 19 to July 17, 2027, with qualifying matches starting in September 2026.

The TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup is scheduled for November 8, 2026, in Tshwane, South Africa, featuring Mamelodi Sundowns against USM Alger. Additionally, Ghana will host the TotalEnergies CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations in February and March 2027, while Morocco will stage the Under-17 tournament in April and May.

Egypt will host the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations, serving as the qualifier for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. CAF is also considering a new U-17 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The draws for the preliminary rounds of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup will occur from September 4 to 6, 2026.
