Nigerian Clubs Set for CAF Continental Campaigns in September

Nigerian Premier Football League champions Rangers International FC and Federation Cup champions Shooting Stars SC are set to begin their continental campaigns in September 2026. Rangers will compete in the CAF Champions League, while Shooting Stars will participate in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Additionally, Nasarawa United and Ikorodu City FC will face off in the final of the Federation Cup at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on July 11, 2026. The preliminary rounds for both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup are scheduled for September 4-6, 2026, with the return fixtures taking place from September 11-13, 2026.

The second preliminary round is set for October 16-18, 2026, with the decisive return fixtures occurring on October 23-25, 2026. The group stage of the competitions will commence at the end of November 2026.
