CAN Releases Names of Escaped Students in Niger Abduction

The Christian Association of Nigeria released the names of 50 students who escaped from the abduction at St. Mary's Private Catholic School in Niger State.

The students fled during a midnight attack and were reunited with their families. The school officials confirmed the children's safe return and explained that the pupils were frightened and disoriented, choosing to head home instead of returning to the school compound.

The students' escape was a result of their instinct to seek safety.
