Canada Lists 1,107 Courses for Post-Graduation Work Permits

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has released a comprehensive list of 1,107 approved Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) codes that qualify international graduates for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). This list enables prospective and current students to confirm if their specific field of study meets the PGWP eligibility requirements.

The PGWP allows international students who have graduated from a Canadian designated learning institution to work in Canada after completing their studies. The introduction of the field of study requirement means that not every program automatically qualifies graduates for the permit.
