Catholic Diocese Reveals 265 Abducted Pupils and Staff in Niger State

The Catholic Diocese of Kontagora in Niger State has disclosed the names of 265 individuals, including students, teachers, and non-academic staff, who were abducted from St. Mary's Catholic Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School in Papiri.

Out of the total 315 kidnapped during the attack, 50 students managed to escape, leaving 265 victims still in captivity. The diocese emphasized the distressing situation of the minors held captive and called for coordinated efforts with security agencies to ensure the safe return of the victims.
