130 Abducted Students Released in Niger State, More to Reunite for Christmas

In a significant development, 130 schoolchildren abducted by terrorists from St. Mary's Catholic School in Niger State have been released.

The exact number of students and teachers freed is being verified. The children are expected to arrive in Minna on Monday to be reunited with their families for Christmas.

This release follows a military operation that led to the initial freedom of 230 students. The school attack on November 21 resulted in the abduction of 315 individuals, including 303 students and 12 teachers.
