CBN Urges Nigerians to Protect Naira, Ensures Availability of New Notes

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has reiterated its commitment to ensuring Nigerians have access to clean and properly mixed currency notes. During the 20th International Trade Fair, the CBN emphasized the importance of treating the Naira with respect and urged citizens to support its clean note campaign.

The Acting Director of the CBN's Corporate Communications Department, Hakama Ali, highlighted the significance of maintaining clean currency as a collective responsibility. Ali also disclosed positive financial indicators, including a rise in Nigeria's external reserves.

The CBN's focus remains on boosting productivity, protecting against external shocks, and maintaining economic stability through collaboration with monetary and fiscal authorities.
