CBN, NITDA, CCC Shortlisted for IPRA Golden World Awards

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), and Central Crisis Communication (CCC) have been shortlisted as finalists for the prestigious 2026 IPRA Golden World Awards. The CBN's entry, titled "Reclaim Public Trust," aims to restore confidence in Nigeria's apex bank after significant monetary and foreign exchange reforms introduced under Governor Olayemi Cardoso.

The campaign emphasizes transparency and effective communication with stakeholders. NITDA's entry focuses on establishing a crisis communication hub, supported by CEO Yushau Shuaib, which aims to combat misinformation and disinformation through AI-driven technologies.

This initiative is backed by a comprehensive 107-page empirical research project. The shortlisted entries will undergo final assessment by an international jury, with winners announced at a gala dinner in Athens, Greece, later this year.

This recognition underscores the growing importance of strategic communication in economic reform and crisis management in Nigeria.
