Champion Breweries Signs N15.9bn Rights Issue for Growth

Champion Breweries Plc conducted a formal signing ceremony on November 14, 2025, for a N15.9bn rights issue approved by shareholders. The rights issue, part of a two-step capital raise, aims to fund strategic acquisitions and bolster the company's growth agenda.

Adoga Inalegwu, the MD/CEO of Champion Breweries, highlighted the significance of the rights issue in expanding the company's scale and competitiveness beyond Nigeria. The joint issuing houses for the rights issue include Rand Merchant Bank Nigeria Limited and FBNQuest Merchant Bank Limited.
