Champion Breweries' Profit Surges 97-Fold on Strong Sales, Reaching N2.05 Billion

Champion Breweries Plc reported a remarkable 97-fold increase in its profit to N2.05 billion for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2025, compared to N21.5 million in the same period in 2024. The surge in profit was attributed to strong revenue growth, particularly from its flagship brands like Champion Lager and Champ Malta.

The company's revenue increased by 53% year-on-year to N21.44 billion, with cost pressures remaining significant. Despite rising costs in sales, distribution, and administration, Champion Breweries managed to double its gross profit to N10.3 billion.

The company's financial income rose, while financial costs increased largely due to a commercial paper program. Overall, the company's bottom line benefited from the profit increase.
