Chelsea Secures 2026 Indonesia Super Cup with 3-0 Win

Chelsea FC won the 2026 Indonesia Super Cup by defeating AC Milan 3-0 on Saturday in Jakarta at the GBK Stadium, which was attended by 40,856 spectators. Joao Pedro scored two goals, the first in first-half stoppage time from a corner taken by Moises Caicedo, and the second shortly after the restart with an assist from Pedro Neto.

Moises Caicedo added a third goal in the 50th minute with an outside-of-the-boot volley from a corner delivered by Romeo Lavia. Chelsea, managed by head coach Xabi Alonso, maintained their starting XI throughout the match, while Milan made several changes at halftime.

Chelsea's lineup included Robert Sanchez in goal, with a defense comprising Josh Acheampong, Wesley Fofana, Jorrel Hato, and Marco Palestra. The midfield featured Caicedo and Lavia, while the attack included Palmer, Joao Pedro, Neto, and Danny Welbeck.

This victory marked Chelsea's first silverware of their Indonesian pre-season tour as they prepare for the 2026/27 campaign. Chelsea's next match is against Johor Darul Ta’zim in Malaysia.
