Chelsea and Johor Darul Ta’zim End in 3-3 Draw

Chelsea FC faced Johor Darul Ta’zim in a pre-season friendly match at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Sunday, resulting in a 3-3 draw. Johor took an early lead in the 14th minute with a goal from Arif Aiman.

Chelsea equalized just before half-time when Liam Delap won and converted a penalty. Delap then scored again in the 62nd minute, also from the penalty spot, after Jamie Gittens was fouled.

Johor responded quickly, with Oscar Arribas scoring from a free-kick that deflected off Delap. The Malaysian champions regained the lead in the 86th minute through a 20-yard effort from Brazilian forward Bergson.

Chelsea managed to secure a draw in the 89th minute when Mykhailo Mudryk's cross deflected off Cristian Glauder into the net. The match was intense, with seven yellow cards issued.

A planned penalty shootout was canceled for unknown reasons. Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso fielded a completely new starting XI after a match against AC Milan the previous day.
