Chike Okafor Nominated Most Outstanding S’East Rep for 2026

Chike Okafor, representing the Ehim Mbano, Ihitte Uboma, and Obowo Federal Constituency in Imo State, has been nominated as the most outstanding member of the House of Representatives from the South East for the year 2026. The nomination was announced on Wednesday by Anderson Osieb, CEO of Hallowmac Africa.

The selection process was rigorous and transparent, combining public online voting and extensive consultations with key parliamentary stakeholders, including the National Assembly Press Corps and the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN). The criteria for selection included legislative oversight and representation, with votes collated from critical stakeholder groups in the South East.

Chike Okafor, who serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Nutrition and Food Security, expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized his commitment to making a positive impact in his constituency and contributing to national development. The nomination is part of the 10th edition of the National Legislative Awards.
